You've also praised the Gold System which was abandoned in the 1973 Breton Woods agreement.  Is so-called 'fiat' money the problem or is it our entire system of fractional reserve banking?  Why would Gold be a more stable anchor for the economy?  Isn't a fixed monetary supply vulnerable to it's own shifts in supply and demand for the underlying good (GOLD).
